Cryptocurrency is beginning to conquer the world of beauty.
👄 Anne McFerran, founder of Glamnetic, a beauty brand with magnetic eyelashes, said the company has begun accepting payments in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Dogecoin (DOGE), and Glamnetic has partnered with bitcoin payment provider BitPay. This is the first nonsense founded by women to accept payments in cryptocurrencies.
💅 “The beauty industry is a sector where cryptocurrency payments are not widely accepted. I wanted Glamnetic to be one of the first brands to support cryptocurrency payments because I believe in cryptocurrency very much and want to attract more women to this space”.
👸 So far, men dominate in this area, but recently more and more women are interested in the cryptocurrency market. The more cosmetic companies will allow cryptocurrencies to pay for products, the more it will stimulate women’s participation in cryptography.
👛 “More and more cosmetic brands using cryptocurrency payments can increase awareness, but not necessarily use. Women need to feel comfortable using cryptocurrency as a payment method. For this to happen, brands must provide support and educational content to promote adoption, ”commented Utrust CEO Sanja Kon.
💍 Jeweler Noémie CEO Juvi Alper said the company has also implemented cryptocurrency payments. But for now, the brand is only selling cryptocurrency to its female clients.
🎀 More and more brands are beginning to understand the importance of the cryptocurrency market, as well as the benefits of adopting cryptocurrency as a payment method.
