What is Security Audit

Security audits are regular checkups on the safety of a company’s information technology system. The computer engineering team tests the system against cyberattacks, for example with penetration testing and by employing white-hat hackers. The engineers also make sure the system is compliant with the regulations of the countries the company operates in. The system must ensure the protection of sensitive information pertaining its users and set in place precautionary plans to combat malicious actors. Security audits must be continuously performed to make sure the security measures are not outdated. Blockchain security audits involve the developer community in revising the code to locate any possible bugs or defects.
