What is Arbitrage

Arbitrage is the trading action where the trader buys an asset and sells it almost at the same time, exploiting price differences in different markets. This difference between the lower buying price and higher selling price exists because of market inefficiencies and brings the trader profit. Arbitrage can be applied in traditional markets with traditional financial instruments such as stocks or bonds, but can also be applied in crypto exchange markets.
